General Info about Allen Farms:
Allen Farms, Inc. began its career over 15 years ago in Norman Oklahoma, Since that time they have expanded to 2 retail locations (Norman and Shawnee)with 4 producing fields. We harvest sod with two methods. We have a small roll sod cutter, which cuts the grass and rolls it up, where it is then placed on pallets for sale. Our second method of sod harvesting is with our large roll cutter. This machine makes one roll that has is 42 inches wide. This is perfect for construction applications, and commercial areas. We install these with a skid steer loader. The advantage of this type of sod is that it can be installed much quicker and the sod stays closer to one piece ( instead of many small rolls of sod ) Our sod can be picked up 6 days a week, or delivered. We have been working diligently with Jim Williams and the American Hereford Association to develop an excellent set of offspring calves. This year we produced an excellent set of black white faced angus / hereford cattle mix. Our main focus is to improve our herd each year. You can view pictures of our cattle on the cattle pages.
